RJP Estate Planning is looking for a Senior Financial Advisor to join our Tucson office. This is not a traditional advisory role where you are expected to build everything from scratch. At RJP, you will step into a system that has been built, tested, and refined over years. One that lets you focus entirely on advising while we handle everything else.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized estate and financial planning consultations to a steady stream of qualified clients provided by RJP
  • Build comprehensive retirement income, investment, and estate planning strategies tailored to each client’s goals
  • Manage ongoing client relationships and guide families through each stage of the planning process
  • Leverage firm-provided technology, tools, and support staff to streamline your workflow

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a client-facing financial advisory role (preferred)
  • Proven track record of building client relationships and closing consultative sales
  • Active FINRA Series 65 or 66 and life/health insurance licenses required
  • Additional licenses such as Series 6, 63, or 7 are preferred or should be obtained within the first year
  • Equivalent qualifications like ChFC, CFP, or CFA will be considered

Licensing Notes

  • FINRA oversees licenses such as Series 3, 6, 7, and 24
  • NASAA oversees Series 63, 65, and 66 (combination of 63 & 65, with Series 7 as a prerequisite)
  • Designations like CFP, CIC, ChFC, PFS, and CFA may substitute for the Series 65 license
